Job Description

Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic, supportive educational setting near Sweetwater, TN! This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to impact K-12 students, working 2.5 days per week during the school year. If you're passionate about fostering student growth and development while enjoying a flexible schedule, this is the perfect role for you. Compensation for this position ranges from $35 to $42 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in the state Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Maintain thorough, compliant records of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce skill development in classroom and home settings
