We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a growing pediatric healthcare team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a unique opportunity to work with a steady caseload of children in one supportive, facility-based setting — no driving from home to home, no putting miles on your car, and no trying to build your schedule around cancellations across town. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your patients and families while working alongside nurses, PTs, SLPs, and other pediatric professionals who are all focused on helping children reach their fullest potential. Why You'll Love This Role 100% facility-based — no home visits or driving between patients Full, established pediatric caseload Starting at $42 per visit with room for growth Approximately 10-12 visits per day based on patient needs and scheduled care Work with children who have a variety of medical and developmental needs Collaborative environment with nursing, PT, SLP, and other clinical professionals on-site Consistent full-time opportunity with a growing organization Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for professional growth as the organization continues to expand What You'll Do Provide individualized occupational therapy to pediatric patients in a facility-based setting Evaluate each child's strengths, needs, and functional abilities and develop meaningful treatment goals Help children improve fine motor skills, visual-motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, activities of daily living, and overall participation Address feeding and oral-motor needs when appropriate in collaboration with other clinical team members Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, splints, and other tools that support greater independence Partner closely with families, nurses, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and other members of the care team Educate caregivers and staff on strategies that can help children continue making progress throughout their day Document treatment, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants when applicable What We're Looking For Current Texas Occupational Therapist license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current NBCOT certification Current CPR/BLS certification Pediatric experience is preferred, particularly with children who have complex medical or developmental needs A collaborative, compassionate approach to patient care Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to meet the physical requirements of working with pediatric patients, including assisting with positioning and transfers A Different Kind of Pediatric OT Opportunity If you enjoy pediatric therapy but don't enjoy spending your day driving between appointments, this could be a great next step.
