Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a virtual Occupational Therapist, helping K-12 students achieve greater independence and success in their educational journeys. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in school-based occupational therapy who are passionate about supportive, student-centered care delivered remotely. You will provide invaluable therapy services from your preferred location, working with students near Fort Bliss, TX.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license Experience with K-12 students in a school setting, with a focus on OT services Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring Comfort working in a fully virtual environment Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team Reliable, secure internet connection and virtual workspace
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 Assess, plan, implement, and monitor therapy interventions aligned with student IEPs Maintain detailed records and contribute to meetings regarding student progress Support teachers, parents, and school staff with strategies for student success Adapt your approach to meet each student's unique needs and learning style Participate in 10 weeks of compensatory services, as required Perks of the
