Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8th grade students as a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist. This full-time, contract role offers a dynamic schedule across two nearby campuses and runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Deliver services where they're valued most and make a positive difference in children's daily functioning and educational success.
What you bring:
Active licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Texas Experience providing OT services in a school setting, ideally with K-8th grade students Ability to deliver both direct and indirect services tailored to individual student needs Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational abilities for managing caseload documentation and IEP participation Your responsibilities will include: Conducting assessments to determine student eligibility and need for OT support Developing intervention plans and implementing individualized therapy sessions Collaborating closely with educators and support staff to integrate OT goals within classroom environments Monitoring progress, maintaining compliance with documentation standards, and contributing to student IEP meetings Supporting students' participation in daily school activities, fostering independence and motor skill development Enjoy a role designed with your professional well-being in mind.
