Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity to make an impact in the lives of K-12 students by providing dedicated occupational therapy services in a school-based environment. Beginning August 12th, 2026, through May 27th, 2027, you'll work closely with students, teachers, and families to support academic and functional success as part of a collaborative team. With a consistent schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and a manageable weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you're set up for both professional fulfillment and a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or eligibility to obtain prior to start date. Experience in a school-based setting and familiarity with K-12 caseloads is preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to fostering student progress in both academic and functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in students' IEPs. Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans for students. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and IEP team discussions. Provide consultation and training to staff and families as appropriate. Support inclusive practices within the school setting.
