Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in an educational setting near League City, TX. This contract role offers a dynamic blend of clinical skills in a supportive school environment, with the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. You will draw on your experience in school-based therapy, home health, healthcare settings, and the flexible delivery of OT services—including teletherapy—while collaborating closely with educators, families, and other professionals. The district is currently gathering caseload information and will match your expertise with student needs as they finalize assignments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas Prior experience in a school setting, home health, or healthcare required Proficiency providing teletherapy services is a strong plus Skillful in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans Creative problem-solving and adaptable approach to therapy delivery Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to supporting the academic and functional success of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans Deliver therapy sessions in-person and/or via teletherapy platforms Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student goals Document progress and adjust therapy as needed based on data and team input Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive support plans Stay informed on current best practices and compliance requirements in school-based OT Bring your expertise and compassion to this role, knowing every day holds the potential to empower a young learner's growth.
