In this specialized role, you'll make a tangible impact by supporting students with visual impairments, helping them gain confidence and navigate their educational environments independently. You'll deliver direct and consultative O&M services to a small, manageable caseload of three students. Your interventions will be highly individualized, ensuring each student receives the attention and skill-building they need to thrive. Services are split between direct sessions and indirect or consultative support, offering a well-rounded, flexible experience for both you and the students.

Qualifications & Experience:

Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) credentials required Experience working with students in a school-based setting Knowledgeable in age-appropriate O&M instructional strategies Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Compassionate approach and patience in fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:
