Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) license, issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE) Previous experience working in school environments is highly desirable Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families Commitment to fostering independence, inclusion, and functional skills among students of varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students motor skills and functional abilities to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other professionals to develop and review goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
