9596491-84010 Job Description Step into an engaging and impactful opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting district Occupational Therapists. This full-time, contract role is onsite and runs the duration of the school year, serving multiple locations in the Bountiful, UT area. Your efforts will directly support students growth and well-being, providing crucial overflow assistance and enhancing access to school-based occupational therapy services.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Active COTA licensure in Utah, or eligibility to obtain Substantial preference for prior school-based COTA or OT experience Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy within educational settings Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively and provide consistent documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver onsite occupational therapy interventions to students as directed by OTs, following established IEPs and treatment plans Manage caseload overflow, ensuring all students receive high-quality, individualized support Travel between multiple schools to meet varying student and OT team needs Partner with teachers, staff, and district OTs to monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed Complete documentation promptly and maintain accurate records for compliance Foster a positive, inclusive environment that helps students maximize independence and participation This position is ideal for someone dedicated to making a difference in the lives of school-aged children while working alongside a dynamic, collaborative team of professionals.
