Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a contract Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). We are seeking three dedicated professionals for a district-wide assignment, supporting learners across a variety of school settings. This opportunity offers a flexible, collaborative environment with a caseload that may be based at single or multiple sites, ensuring each day brings new experiences and professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active OT or COTA license valid in the state of Virginia Solid understanding of pediatric OT practices, especially within a school setting Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, students, and families Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Previous experience with K-12 student populations is preferred
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as detailed in students' IEPs, individualized for each learner's needs Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to create accessible learning environments Move between sites as needed to serve students effectively across the district Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance standards
