We are building a responsive, territory-based clinical team focused on safe, coordinated care in each patient's home. Position Summary VIGEO Home Health is hiring Virginia-licensed Occupational Therapists for PRN W-2 home health visits. This role is built for OTs who want flexible supplemental work, clear territory expectations, and meaningful patient care focused on safety, independence, and daily function at home. This is a PRN W-2 position built around clinician availability and accepted assignments. Clinicians share the days, times, and local areas they can cover, and schedules may change as patient needs, physician orders, geography, and available assignments change. Coverage Areas Current priority regions include Arlington/Falls Church/McLean/Springfield and Alexandria/Annandale/Burke. We confirm the ZIP codes and communities you can realistically cover before assigning visits. Assignments outside your agreed territory are offered only if you choose to accept them. This Role Offers A focused local service territory with clearly defined coverage preferences Flexible PRN scheduling based on your availability and accepted assignments Competitive pay-per-visit compensation by visit type Mileage reimbursement according to the agency's current reimbursement policy Geographic grouping of visits whenever census and scheduling permit Secure VIGEO Chat App communication for scheduling, updates, and care coordination; no personal texting or calls for work communication Clinical and administrative support for documentation, compliance, and scheduling Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, physicians, and clinical leadership Paid onboarding, EMR training, competency validation, and approved administrative work Compensation Indeed displays $85-$110 per hour. VIGEO uses a W-2 pay-per-visit model, not a guaranteed hourly schedule. One completed visit, including patient care and related documentation, may total about one hour, but actual time varies by visit type, patient needs, and documentation complexity. Final visit categories and rates will be reviewed before hire. Patient volume can vary by territory, referral need, physician orders, and your availability. What You'll Do Complete OT evaluations, reassessments, recertifications, resumptions of care, and discharge planning as ordered Develop and update treatment plans addressing ADLs, upper-extremity function, cognition, safety, adaptive equipment, and functional independence Provide skilled interventions, caregiver education, home programs, and home-safety training Communicate patient progress, safety concerns, and changes in condition with physicians and the interdisciplinary team Complete timely documentation in WellSky/Kinnser according to Medicare home health standards Supervise COTAs and home health aides when assigned and permitted by the plan of care and applicable requirements Requirements Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license in good standing Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current CPR certification Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance Ability to travel to patient homes in the mutually agreed Northern Virginia service area Ability to complete VIGEO onboarding, EMR training, competency validation, and required compliance training Strongly Preferred Home health or Medicare-certified home health experience Experience with geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, cognitive, post-hospitalization, or home-safety needs WellSky/Kinnser or comparable home health EMR experience NBCOT certification How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
