PRN W-2 HOME HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

(OT) - FAIRFAX, LOUDOUN & ARLINGTON VIGEO Health is hiring PRN Occupational Therapists for skilled home health visits across Northern Virginia. Choose your territory, set your availability, and earn $85-$110 per completed visit with mileage reimbursement. This is a PRN W-2 employee position with compensation processed through VIGEO payroll. VIGEO Health is a Medicare-certified, CHAP-accredited skilled home health agency serving Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington, and nearby Northern Virginia communities.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is built for Occupational Therapists who want flexible PRN work, clear territory expectations, and meaningful one-on-one patient care focused on safety, independence, and daily function in the home.

SERVICE AREA

Primary Northern Virginia service cities may include Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Centreville, Chantilly, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Falls Church, Herndon, Leesburg, McLean, Reston, Springfield, Sterling, Vienna, Woodbridge, and nearby communities. Candidates do not need to cover every city listed; preferred territory and realistic ZIP code coverage are confirmed before visits are assigned. Patient assignments are grouped geographically whenever possible to reduce drive time.

THIS ROLE OFFERS PRN W-2

TRAINING REQUIREMENT

This is a W-2 position with required onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training, including participation in scheduled clinical, documentation, EMR, competency, and compliance training sessions as required to support patient care standards, onboarding progress, and agency operations.

COMPENSATION

Pay is $85-$110 per completed visit Typical visits are approximately 45-60 minutes, though actual time may vary by visit type, patient needs, travel, and documentation complexity VIGEO uses a W-2 pay-per-visit model, not a guaranteed hourly schedule Mileage reimbursement is available Visit type, experience, and employment classification may affect final rate PRN positions do not include traditional benefits

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Complete initial assessments, plans of care, and reassessments every 30 days per physician orders Deliver skilled OT interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor function, upper extremity recovery, cognition, functional independence, and home safety Supervise COTAs and Home Health Aides as assigned Instruct patients and families in home programs, fine motor exercises, adaptive equipment use, and safe daily routines Consult with physicians on treatment changes and submit recertifications, reevaluations, and discharge summaries as required Complete documentation aligned with Medicare home health and OASIS standards Collaborate with Nursing, PT, ST, physicians, and clinical leadership to support coordinated care

REQUIREMENTS

Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license in good standing Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE/AOTA-accredited program NBCOT eligible or certified Current CPR certification Driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance 1-2+ years of clinical experience Comfortable accepting at least 8 visits per month Ability to complete VIGEO onboarding, EMR training, competency validation, and required compliance training

STRONGLY PREFERRED

Home health or Medicare-certified home health experience Skilled nursing, rehab, outpatient, acute care, or geriatric experience Experience with WellSky/Kinnser or comparable home health EMR Experience with homebound patient populations, OASIS documentation, adaptive equipment, and home safety needs
