In this role, you'll provide vital Occupational Therapy services across two middle schools for the duration of the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Virginia Experience in school-based OT settings Ability to handle a caseload of both direct and consultative students Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Willingness to begin the credentialing process quickly (VA Dept. of Social Services check and TB test required) Comfortable working independently and adapting to new settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct one-on-one or small group OT services to students (approximately 10 of the 25 caseload) Offer consultative support to teachers and families for an additional 15 students Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed throughout the year Document progress and keep accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines Participate in team meetings and collaborate with the lead OT and program director Provide input on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support appropriate accommodations Flexibly manage a 20-hour workweek, with some potential to adjust your schedule or expand caseload as needed
