Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families Clear communication and documentation abilities Adaptability, creativity, and a child-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs Conduct assessments to determine students' functional abilities within the academic setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills Deliver interventions in both individual and group settings, as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student goals and objectives Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance records, and communicate student progress Collaborate with classroom staff to integrate OT strategies and supports Serve as a resource for families and educators on student needs and accommodations This opportunity will immerse you in a collaborative, supportive setting focused on student growth.
