Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives as an Occupational Therapist serving K-12 learners! This contract position is full-time, beginning in early October and continuing through the end of the year. Your expertise will directly support a diverse student population, helping them reach their fullest potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license and credentials for school settings Experience with both fine and gross motor skill development Prior work with K-12 students is highly desirable Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering inclusivity and accessibility

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans Deliver direct therapy services targeting fine and gross motor skill development Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies within classroom environments Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain timely, accurate records Provide training and resources to school personnel and families to promote ongoing progress Monitor and adjust therapeutic approaches in response to student progress Collaborate closely with certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) and other allied health professionals
