Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Active and valid Occupational Therapy license or certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school teams. Detail-oriented approach to documentation and timely reporting. Experience with school-aged children is a plus but not required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations tailored to students unique strengths and needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans across both one-on-one and group sessions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and goal achievement. Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing your expertise to inform educational strategies. Maintain accurate records of therapy goals, interventions, and outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on evolving best practices in occupational therapy.
