Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Washington State Pediatric and/or school-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP processes, goal writing, and progress monitoring Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, educators, and families Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver both direct and consultative OT services

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for support within the school environment Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Deliver direct interventions and consultative services to students in collaboration with teachers and support staff Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations, contributing OT expertise to inform educational programming Offer guidance and training to school staff on classroom accommodations and strategies to foster student independence
