This contract opportunity near Kirkland, WA offers you the flexibility of a .2 position, working one day per week. Provide essential services and support to help children succeed in their educational environment, collaborating with staff and families to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Bring:
Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington State Experience working in pediatric or school settings, with a strong understanding of IEPs Knowledge of evidence-based practices for school-based OT interventions Effective communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services, including screenings, assessments, and direct or consultative treatments for students as assigned Develop and implement individualized goals and strategies to support academic participation Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates related to occupational therapy Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines Adapt activities and recommend modifications to optimize student participation in school routines
