This full-time, contract role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive educational team for the entire school year, bringing your expertise to a diverse elementary and secondary student population. You'll play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges and achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Washington Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements Ability to develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored for school-aged children Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working alongside educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student participation in academic and social activities Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuing education requirements Perks of the
