Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a supportive school setting near Port Orchard, WA. This rewarding opportunity allows you to work directly with children and collaborate with educators, empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Occupational Therapy license (OT) for the state of Washington required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of current OT best practices for school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct and consultative OT services that address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional school skills Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to support each student's educational goals Attend IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to student support teams Adapt therapeutic approaches to suit diverse learners This contract position offers flexibility and the chance to experience the unique challenges and rewards of working within schools.
