Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Occupational Therapist interested in making a lasting impact with elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person contract position runs from ASAP to June 11, 2027, and is based close to the scenic Port Orchard, WA area. You'll work exclusively with students at a single elementary school site, providing direct interventions and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff.

Key Qualifications:

Must hold or be eligible for a valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification Washington OT license required Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI prior to start date Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills essential Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Comfortable working independently and managing a caseload of 32 students

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in grades K-5 Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications Educate staff and parents about strategies and resources to promote student success This role offers a rewarding chance to positively influence children's lives while maintaining a manageable caseload in a supportive environment.
