Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) with a strong focus on pediatric developmental therapy to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assess patients, complete treatment plans, and coordinate directly with families and physicians to deliver relationship-focused care.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Duties Clinical Service Delivery:

Provide pediatric occupational therapy across clinic, home, community, and telehealth-supported environments. Address participation in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and all life and family contexts. The provider will evaluate the client for participation concerns and provide intervention for developmental skills (motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, executive functioning, visual-motor development). Service delivery can also include family coaching or coordinating with other providers. Typical areas of participation difficulty include toileting, dressing, grooming, self-feeding, self management, and social participation.

Evaluations & Screenings:

Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings. Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through standardized and non-standardized measures. Document findings efficiently and effectively communicate results to families or stakeholders.

Create individualized treatment plans:

Create strengths-based care plans aligned with child and family goals.

Therapeutic Relationship & Environment:

Establish safe, welcoming, and empowering spaces where trust, playful connection, and relationship-centered care guide every session.

Collaboration & Care Coordination:

Coordinate care with caregivers, educators, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams when requested.

Parent Coaching & Engagement:

Deliver practical home strategies and caregiver coaching to enhance functional participation in daily life.

Documentation & Compliance :

Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care. Complete billing logs for accurate reimbursement. Fulfill necessary onboarding : credentialing, licensing, and ongoing professional development requirements

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Master's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure:

Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license (verifiable via WA Dept of Health) National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Current CPR Certification Ability to pass a criminal background check Required to maintain individual professional liability policy .

Required Experience:

At least 1+ years experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in a clinical or school setting, Experience working with persons with Autism or other complex developmental challenges between the ages of 3-21: Experience in developmental and neuroscience-based approaches to build skills and promote access and inclusion for neurodivergent clients, including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Trauma, Developmental Delays, brain injuries, learning disabilities, and other developmental or acquired disabilities Strong interpersonal, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills, with a professional, positive, and cooperative approach. Proven ability to build meaningful rapport with clients, parents, and team members, including parent coaching and caregiver consultation. Demonstrated success working independently and applying critical thinking skills in work contexts. Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize duties and accomplish clinical goals efficiently.
