Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children, to help them achieve their maximum potential in daily living and working activities. This role requires a deep understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and the ability to develop effective care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Duties Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and observations. Develop and implement personalized care plans that address specific goals and challenges. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and strategies for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on best practices in occupational health and therapy techniques. Skills Proficient in creating individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Experience working in school environments or with children is highly desirable. Strong background in patient care with a focus on assisting individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices. Knowledge of physiology as it pertains to rehabilitation and therapy techniques. Experience in clinic settings or skilled nursing facilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
