9683217-53132 Job Description Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students across three elementary schools as an itinerant Occupational Therapist. You'll provide essential services during a maternity leave, beginning in January and extending through the end of the school year. Make a meaningful impact while managing a diverse caseload of approximately 40 young learners, ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive in their educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist license, with credentials suitable for school practice Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services for students on the caseload, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to identify students needs, strengths, and areas for development Collaborate with educators and related service providers to integrate therapeutic supports into the classroom Maintain compliant documentation for all therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress Engage with parents and caregivers as partners in the therapeutic process Adapt therapy techniques to various learning environments and unique student needs Enjoy the fulfillment of fostering student growth and independence throughout this contract period.
