This onsite, full-time role focuses on supporting school-aged children to reach their academic and developmental milestones.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin (or eligibility) Previous experience with pediatric or school-based OT preferred Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to collaborate as part of an educational team Commitment to promoting student success and independence
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to individual education plans (IEPs) Assess students' functional abilities and create targeted intervention plans Document progress, complete evaluations, and maintain accurate, thorough records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making Educate and support classroom staff in implementing accommodations and strategies Stay current on best practices for school-based OT service delivery You'll enjoy the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives in a supportive educational environment.
