Job Description

Marigold Speech & Co. is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is a hands-on clinical position for an OT who enjoys working collaboratively, values neurodiversity-affirming care, and wants the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families. Our OT program primarily serves pediatric and young adult clients ages 0-21 , although our clinic serves individuals across the lifespan and opportunities to work with adults may be available based on clinician interest and experience. What You'll Do The OTR will maintain a hands-on clinical caseload while also supporting and supervising approximately 2-3 COTAs in accordance with Wisconsin OT supervision requirements . Dedicated supervision time will be built into the schedule each month so these responsibilities are not expected to simply be added on top of a full treatment schedule.
Responsibilities may include:
Completing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, plans of care, and discharge planning Providing direct, individualized OT treatment Supervising and collaborating with 2-3 COTAs in accordance with Wisconsin practice standards Providing clinical guidance, reviewing treatment plans and progress, and supporting COTA professional development Collaborating closely with our Speech-Language Pathology team, including opportunities for ST/OT co-treatment when clinically appropriate Providing caregiver education and practical strategies that can be carried over into home, school, and community environments Participating in interdisciplinary problem-solving and treatment planning Areas of Treatment Our caseload is diverse and may include children and young adults who benefit from support with: Activities of daily living and increasing independence Fine motor and visual-motor skills Handwriting and school-related functional skills Sensory processing and sensory regulation Emotional and behavioral regulation Self-regulation, frustration tolerance, and coping strategies Transitions and participation in daily routines Motor planning, coordination, and body awareness Executive functioning and organization Play and social participation Feeding and mealtime participation Adaptive equipment and environmental modifications Functional participation at home, school, and in the community Experience with pediatric feeding is a plus , but not required. The Marigold Environment Marigold is an autism- and neurodiversity-affirming practice . We believe in presuming competence, respecting different communication and regulation needs, and helping clients participate more fully in the activities that matter to them. Our clinic includes the Summit Sensory Gym , a large dedicated sensory and movement space designed to support individualized, play-based occupational therapy. OTs also have access to treatment rooms and a private workspace for documentation and planning . You will work alongside a collaborative team of SLPs, OTs, COTAs, and other professionals who value communication across disciplines. We encourage clinicians to ask questions, share ideas, and work together rather than practice in isolation. Caseload & Support We believe quality care requires manageable expectations. This position includes a caseload cap , protected time for documentation and COTA supervision, and administrative support so the OTR can focus on clinical care and leadership of the OT team. A computer and private workspace are provided . Benefits Health insurance is available after 90 days of employment . Additional compensation, scheduling, and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process. Who We're Looking For We are looking for an OTR who is collaborative, dependable, comfortable providing hands-on treatment, and excited to support both clients and fellow clinicians. Pediatric experience is preferred, and feeding experience is a bonus. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who values individualized, family-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care and wants to be part of a growing multidisciplinary practice where occupational therapy is an important part of the team.
