Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license required Experience in school settings and with school-aged children strongly preferred Ability to oversee and mentor an Occupational Therapy Assistant Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for creating positive learning experiences for students
What You'll Do:
Provide direct OT services to students across two elementary schools Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Assess, document, and track progress for a caseload of 62 students Supervise and provide support to an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), overseeing their work with part of the caseload Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Offer guidance and recommendations for adapting classroom activities to better serve students This full-time contract includes 37.5 hours per week with a flexible, school-based schedule.
