Job Description
Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Provide specialized care to patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability through therapeutic daily activities that promote independence and improve quality of life. This travel Occupational Therapy position in Mauston, WI offers the opportunity to treat patients in acute care, nursing home, and outpatient settings while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients in acute care and nursing home environments. Provide outpatient evaluations and treatment services. Document evaluations, progress notes, daily updates, insurance information, and discharge summaries in medical records with precision. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care planning. Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care.Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate preferred. Current National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy. Valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license with commitment to ongoing continuing education. At least 1 year of related occupational therapy experience. Valid driver's license and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and patient care.Location Overview:
