Performance Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and conduct occupational therapy treatment in a school setting to improve, develop, restore, or maintain a child's active participation in self-maintenance, work, leisure, and play in education environments. Work with students to develop functional skills, allowing them to succeed in the classroom. Conduct evaluations, provide treatment, and participate in IEP meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's in occupational therapy from a school accredited by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Current Occupational Therapy license from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services or the ability to obtain one. Current Occupational Therapy license from the Department of Public Instruction or the ability to obtain one. Ability to be flexible and accommodating to changing school and student needs.
