Job Description
Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a school setting located in Lonoke, Arkansas. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students' occupational therapy needs within an educational environment, helping to improve their functional abilities and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as a COTA with relevant state licensure. Prior experience working within a school-based setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and educational interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.Location:
Lonoke, Arkansas, with placement expected to serve the 2026-2027 academic year.Benefits:
