School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) A supportive school district in the Coachella, CA area is now hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year . This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population in a collaborative, student-centered school environment. Coachella, CA Employment Type:
Full-time, Contract Work Hours:
40 hours per week
Assignment Dates:
ASAP - End of School Year 2026, continuing through the 2026-2027 school year
Pay:
$35-$45+/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT) Provide direct services to students addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional school performance Support students in accessing educational activities and school environments Collect and document student progress data and assist with reporting Collaborate with OTs, teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success Serve a K-12 caseload with a variety of developmental and functional needs
Experience:
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Education /
Requirements:
Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
