Two years of experience in criminal justice to include experience in a criminal justice environment is required. Recruitment Notes This position oversees the efficient processing and placement of the inmate population by analyzing statistical data related to bookings, releases, and various inmate categories. The incumbent compiles and interprets inmate population information to identify trends, develop reports, and highlight segments needing intervention or expedited case movement. The role conducts continuous analysis of population levels and system trends to create strategies that reduce overcrowding and improve housing allocation. It collaborates closely with the Intake and Release Bureau and numerous criminal justice partners to streamline communication and facilitate informed decision‑making. Additionally, the position responds to inquiries from the Clerk of Courts, criminal justice stakeholders and the public, providing accurate information and assistance regarding inmate status and release processes. The position will participate in jail population related committees and other assigned duties as required.
