Responsibilities Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, functional mobility, and cognitive skills Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PT, SLP, and case management on care plans Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and adaptive equipment Document assessments, goals, and outcomes accurately in the EMRParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Contribute to quality improvement and clinical best-practice initiatives Required Skills Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment Knowledge of neuro and orthopedic rehabilitation ADL and IADL retraining Splinting and upper extremity rehab Cognitive and perceptual retraining Safe patient handling and transfer techniques Therapeutic exercise and activity analysis EMR documentation and clinical writing Interdisciplinary teamwork and communication Patient and family education Discharge planning and home safety assessment
