Blessed Steps PPEC Miami, FL Job Details Full-time $30 - $45 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork COTA Pediatrics Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description About Us We are a newly established Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center in Miami, dedicated to providing medically complex and technology-dependent children with a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment during the day. Our interdisciplinary model allows children to receive skilled nursing care alongside therapy services, supporting their development while giving families peace of mind and respite. We are building a passionate care team ahead of our opening and are looking for licensed therapy professionals who want to make a lasting impact on medically fragile children and their families. Position Summary We are seeking a well-rounded therapy team consisting of: Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist / COTA, and/or Speech-Language Pathologist / SLPA to provide direct, skilled therapy services to children enrolled in our PPEC. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with medically complex pediatric populations (technology-dependent, chronic illness, developmental delay) and enjoys collaborating with nursing staff, families, and other disciplines in a coordinated care setting. •Hourly rates are off of a W2 position• Responsibilities Provide individualized, skilled therapy sessions per physician orders and plan of care Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team (nursing, other therapists, care coordinators) to support each child's developmental and medical goals Communicate with families regarding progress, home exercise programs, and carryover strategies Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Ensure compliance with AHCA regulations and PPEC-specific standards of care Participate in care plan meetings and staffing as needed Qualifications Current, active Florida license as a PT, PTA, OTR, COTA, CCC-SLP, or SLPA (per position) CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with pediatric populations preferred; experience with medically complex/technology-dependent children a plus Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Why Join Us Be part of a brand-new PPEC shaping care for medically complex children in the Miami community Collaborative, mission-driven team culture Opportunity to grow with a new facility from the ground up Flexible scheduling options available (edit based on actual offering) Competitive pay based on experience (edit with your rate/range) Please submit your resume and current license information.
