Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist (CBRS) to join our dynamic team. Duties Provide skills-building interventions in home and community settings that support recovery, resiliency, and independent functioning Develop and implement individualized recovery/treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team Teach and model practical skills in areas such as daily living, communication, problem-solving, symptom management, social connection, and community resource navigation Maintain timely, accurate documentation including daily progress notes, treatment plan updates, and discharge summaries in compliance with Idaho Medicaid and agency standards Coordinate with therapists, case managers, schools, medical providers, and natural supports to ensure continuity of care Participate in regular supervision with a licensed clinical professional Uphold client confidentiality and all HIPAA, IDHW, and Medicaid requirements Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or higher in a human services field (psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, education, or related discipline) Valid Idaho driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal history background check Preferred Proven experience working with children, youth, or individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism or neurodevelopmental disorders. Background in mental health care including PTSD care, crisis intervention, addiction counseling, and behavior management. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, vital signs measurement, and basic first aid/CPR certification. Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or substance use disorders. Ability to perform de-escalation techniques confidently during behavioral crises while maintaining professionalism. Demonstrated capacity for data collection, report writing, and maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Pay:

$24.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
