Job Description
The Rehab Tech provides multi-faceted assistance in the operations of the Rehabilitation Services department through assistance in treating patients, helping them prepare for and finalize therapy sessions. Responsible for maintaining treatment areas and equipment at treatment areas and in rooms. Includes setting up treatment rooms, cleaning, sanitizing equipment, ordering and maintaining therapy and office supply inventory. Administrative duties may include throughout the day, greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling and registering patients, filling out paperwork for patients, processing patients' billing information. The rehab tech may also assist in inpatient care including transfer training, ambulation, and stair climbing training/instruction.
