Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Therapy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing their rehabilitation journey. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed therapists by preparing treatment areas, managing patient transfers, and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for all patients. Your dedication to patient service and clinical support will help facilitate effective therapy sessions across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care settings. Duties Assist licensed therapists during patient treatments by preparing equipment and therapy spaces to ensure smooth session flow Support patient transfer methods using proper manual handling techniques, ensuring safety and comfort for patients with varying mobility needs Monitor and document patient responses during therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records of progress and treatment plans Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality protocols while handling sensitive medical information Support patient care activities such as positioning, mobility assistance, and post-treatment hygiene to promote comfort and recovery Educate patients on therapy exercises and post-discharge care instructions under supervision of licensed staff Ensure all therapy equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored following infection control standards Requirements Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role is highly preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and hospital medicine Demonstrated ability in manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods to ensure safety during mobility assistance Experience working in hospital, outpatient clinic, or inpatient settings with exposure to orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care environments Knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare team members while maintaining patient confidentiality Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and assisting with patient transfers in acute care settings Familiarity with rehabilitation care procedures including intake assessments and post-acute care protocols Join us as a Therapy Technician if you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient service while supporting the healing process through compassionate care.
