JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Job Summary :
Responsible for providing support services to assist therapists in direct patient care in acute care, sub-acute and/or outpatient settings. Responsible for transporting and /or escorting patients in the clinic areas, maintaining equipment and treatment areas, ordering of supplies and other job duties as assigned. Has basic computer skills and basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent GED education.
Registration/Certification/Licensure :
None Experience :
Must demonstrate competence to provide support rehabilitation services by reason of education, training and experience.
Other Requirements :
Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. Good interpersonal skills are essential, especially courtesy and cooperation, when interacting with other staff members and patients/families/caregivers. Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential data discretely and adhere to HIPAA compliance regulations.
