Position Summary:

We are seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Workers , providing direct, skills-based mental health services to adults living with serious mental illness. This position may be filled by either a Mental Health Practitioner or a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker , as defined by Minnesota Statutes. As an ARMHS worker, you will support clients in developing the skills needed to manage symptoms, build independence, and achieve personal recovery goals. Services are provided in the home, community, and/or office settings, based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide rehabilitative mental health services under the ARMHS model in compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 256B.0623 and 245I. Assist clients in building skills in areas such as: Daily living and household management Social and interpersonal functioning Medication education and self-management Coping strategies and symptom management Vocational and employment readiness Community engagement and resource navigation Collaborate with each client to implement an Individual Treatment Plan. Accurately document services provided in compliance with 245I documentation standards (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans). Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and continuing education. Coordinate care with internal team members and external providers to support continuity of care. Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services to diverse populations.

Qualifications:

You may qualify as either a: Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker (per MN Statute 245I.04, subd. 4): Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent and one of the following : 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to adults with a mental illness;

OR 2,000

hours of such experience if fluent in the client's primary non-English language; OR Associate's or bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field plus 2,000 hours of supervised experience; OR Completion of approved training curriculum and supervision requirements. Mental Health Practitioner (per MN Statute 245I.02, subd. 37): Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in a behavioral science or related field and meets one or more experience or licensing requirements (such as 2,000-4,000 hours of supervised experience providing services to individuals with mental illness or emotional disturbance).

Other Requirements:

Must pass a Minnesota DHS background study. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance for community-based work. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in ARMHS or community mental health. Bilingual or multilingual skills. Familiarity with trauma-informed care or culturally responsive practices. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Pay:

$18.74 - $19.38 per hour
