Job Summary Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist / Vocational EvaluatorFlexible Contract Opportunity | $340 Per Completed Report Kansas City, MO & Surrounding Areas (In-Person) Make a Difference Through Meaningful Work Land of Goods Vocational Consulting (LOGVC) is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, motivated professionals to join our team as independent contract Vocational Evaluators. If you have experience in rehabilitation counseling, vocational services, disability services, behavioral health, or clinical counseling—and enjoy helping individuals identify employment opportunities and overcome vocational barriers—we'd love to hear from you. This flexible contract position offers the opportunity to manage your own schedule while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. About Land of Goods Vocational Consulting LOGVC partners with state, federal, and private organizations to provide high-quality vocational services, including: Vocational Evaluations Employability Assessments Expert Witness Services Life Care Planning Vocational Rehabilitation Consulting Our mission is to provide professional, ethical, and individualized services that help people achieve successful employment outcomes. What You'll Do As a Vocational Evaluator, you will: Conduct in-person vocational evaluations with clients throughout the Kansas City area Administer and interpret vocational assessment information Prepare professional, well-written evaluation reports Review and approve reports completed by Vocational Evaluator Assistants Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality Communicate professionally with clients, referral sources, and internal staff Manage assignments independently while meeting established deadlines What We're Looking For We're seeking professionals who are: Self-motivated and dependable Excellent communicators Organized and detail-oriented Strong technical and report writers Comfortable working independently Passionate about helping individuals achieve vocational success Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications: Preferred Certifications Current credential as one of the following: Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE) Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) American Board of Vocational Experts Diplomate (ABVE/D) or Fellow (ABVE/F) International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC) Vocational Evaluator Certificate from an accredited college or university OR Education Master's Degree in Vocational Evaluation OR Related Education & Experience Master's degree in one of the following: Rehabilitation Counseling Rehabilitation Services Clinical Social Work Mental Health Counseling Clinical Psychology AND Minimum one year of experience using vocational rehabilitation counseling techniques Minimum one year of experience conducting vocational evaluations Compensation Independent Contractor (1099) $340 per completed report Flexible scheduling Opportunity for ongoing assignments Additional Requirements Must successfully complete a Level II Background Screening Reliable transportation for travel throughout the Kansas City area Ability to work independently and meet report deadlines Why Join LOGVC?
