1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Long Term Care position requiring at least 1 year of LTC or rehab experience. Details Long term care (LTC) facility setting within the Occupational Therapy department Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours No weekend requirements No on-call requirements Compact license accepted Requirements Minimum 1 year of OTA experience required LTC or rehabilitation setting experience required Active COTA license required (license required if applicable) Active MO state licensure required 1 reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Administer treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising OT to adjust treatment plans as needed Document all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic documentation system Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other required facility meetings Support and supervise students under the guidance of the supervising Occupational Therapist Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
