Chandler View Kids Club Aide (AM and/or PM) Omaha Public Schools Foundation - 2.0 Bellevue, NE Job Details Part-time $16 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Student supervision Serving Safety regulations Child safety supervision Cleaning Student discipline Student safety monitoring Entry level Meal assistance Full Job Description The childcare aide will be responsible for supervising children at Kids Club and is supervised by the site director. Childcare aides must be over the age of 16. The starting wage for a childcare aide is $16.00 per hour. Hours are 7:00 AM - 8:45 AM and 3:45 PM - 6:00 PM.
Duties include:
Being responsible for the safety and well-being of each child Interacting and supervising children at the site Intervening when a disciplinary situation occurs- bringing to the attention of the director or the assistant director if the director is not present. Helping to serve snacks Helping with clean-up Knowing the state regulations Recording personal in-service hours Knowing the procedures Taking directions from the site director (or assistant director in his/her absence) The childcare aide must meet the qualifications set by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, which includes up to 12 in-service hours each school year based on hire date. The childcare aide will have an annual health examination form and felony statement. This job description may change based on the needs of the OPSF. In accordance with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Omaha Public Schools Foundation, staff are not required to be immunized but it is highly recommended. #hc261599
