1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a home health and SNF position, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification. Details Home health setting covering a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and surrounding area, with occasional coverage of a nearby SNF or home health location for PTO or census needs 13-week assignment on day shift Schedule varies between M-F, Su-Th, or Tu-Sa, approximately 8 hours per day 36 guaranteed hours per week Uses HCHB for home health charting and Net Health for SNF charting Productivity expectations of 90% (or 28 points) for home health full-time and 88% for SNF On-site Therapy Supervisor and COTA available for support No on-call or call-back requirements Requirements Current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of experience required Active COTA license required if applicable New graduates will be considered Valid driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required, one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Provide occupational therapy assistant services across home health and SNF settings Work under the direction of an on-site occupational therapist and alongside an on-site COTA supervisor Local candidates within an 80-mile radius are accepted at an adjusted rate First-time travelers will be considered for this position
