This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help students achieve their best through school-based services. Qualifications and Skills:
Current COTA certification required Experience or interest in working within school environments Ability to adapt to a diverse range of K-12 student needs Strong collaboration skills to partner with occupational therapists, teachers, and families Excellent communication and organizational abilities Energetic, resourceful, and motivated to engage students
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services as directed by an occupational therapist Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor, track, and document student progress regularly Collaborate with educators and therapists to adapt activities and environments Engage in team meetings and contribute to long-term student success
