• Therapist
• Psychiatry We are seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist/Music Therapist to provide assessments and therapeutic group therapy programming to meet individual needs and treatment goals of medically compromised and psychiatric/behavioral health in-patients & out-patient services.

Work with a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to enhancing inpatient activity and programs. Collaborate with other departments and community groups to enhance programs on the unit. This is a full-time day shift Monday through Friday 8:30 am

• 4:30 pm with one weekend (Saturday & Sunday) coverage every 4/5 weeks at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria 1-3 years' experience working with adults, geriatrics in an acute inpatient hospital setting Board Certified Proficient in modalities pertaining to specific Creative Arts Therapy Discipline (e.g. guitar, piano etc.) License in Mental Health Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy or Occupational Therapy from New York State Department of Education Certification in Therapeutic Recreation by National Council for Therapeutic Recreation or Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant by New York State Department of Education Required Criteria Bachelor's Degree Knowledge of dual diagnosis, principles and practices of 12 step programs, and the application of psychosocial rehabilitation for that population Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
