Summary We are seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist based in Clearfield , PA to join our dynamic team at Living Unlimited Inc . In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing essential support to individuals facing cognitive and physical challenges, enhancing their ability to engage meaningfully in their communities and work sites. Responsibilities Assess client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans. Provide direct support and guidance to clients in various settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Facilitate skill-building activities that promote independence. Monitor client progress and adjust plans as necessary. Educate clients and families about available resources and strategies. Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the community. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress. Provide transportation for individuals to local community outings, resources or appointments as needed while receiving the IRS established mileage reimbursement rate. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human service, rehabilitation, and/or social sciences or related field .• OR Associate's Degree in human service, rehabilitation, and/or social sciences or related field with one year of experience in the field . Related fields can include social work, psychology, counseling, behavior health. This is not a nursing position.• A valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle. Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines. Ability to problem solve, be self-directed and ask questions! Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Successful completion of ACRE certification once employed.
