THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Aide Trainee, you will be responsible and accountable for learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide and begin with a paid in-classroom and on-the-job training program. You will learn how to care for and assist people with intellectual disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center. Upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period as an Aide Trainee, you will be promoted to a Residential Services Aide. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment. Work hours during training: 1st shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 30 minute lunch. Work hours after training: 2nd shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with a 30 minute lunch. Rotating schedule with every third weekend off. Travel and overtime as needed. Multiple positions may be filled from this posting.

Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,245.00 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
No previous experience needed, training provided.
