At Bryn Medical , you won't spend your internship sitting on the sidelines. You'll work alongside our integrated healthcare team, learn how rehabilitation programs are carried out in a clinical setting, and gain firsthand experience helping patients improve their movement, function, and quality of life. This is an internship designed for motivated students and early-career healthcare professionals seeking clinical exposure, observation experience, professional mentorship, or experience applicable to future graduate programs and healthcare careers.

WHY INTERN AT BRYN MEDICAL?

This isn't just an opportunity to observe. You'll gain exposure to the day-to-day patient experience—from evaluation and rehabilitation through progress and graduation from care. Depending on your education, experience, and scope of training, you may have opportunities to: Assist patients with provider-directed therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities Perform computerized range-of-motion assessments following clinic protocols Learn proper patient setup and support for rehabilitation equipment Observe and assist with non-surgical decompression therapies Support patient flow throughout the rehabilitation department Learn how providers track patient progress throughout a plan of care Encourage, coach, and communicate with patients during their rehabilitation experience Maintain a safe, organized, and professional rehabilitation environment Observe collaboration between medical, chiropractic, and rehabilitation professionals Participate in patient education and the overall patient experience Training is provided. Activities are assigned based on the intern's education, experience, competency, and appropriate level of supervision.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're especially interested in applicants studying or pursuing careers in: Exercise Science Kinesiology Physical Therapy / Pre-PT Occupational Therapy / Pre-OT Sports Medicine Athletic Training Chiropractic Nursing or other allied health professions Personal Training / Fitness Physical Rehabilitation We also welcome applicants with relevant certifications or experience, including PT technicians, personal trainers, chiropractic assistants, and other rehabilitation or healthcare support roles.

Minimum education requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent. But your degree isn't the most important thing to us. We're looking for someone who is dependable, coachable, energetic, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping people. You should be comfortable interacting with patients, taking direction from multiple healthcare professionals, staying active throughout your shift, and being part of a fast-paced team.
