Job Description

Description General Summary:
A nonexempt position responsible for preparing and cleaning treatment areas, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting, positioning and in general assisting patients, therapists and assistants in the successful completion of the treatment plan as assigned by Director.
Position:
Full-time Hours:
M-F, 8a-5p
Starting Wage:
$16/hr
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares patients for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment. 2. Transports patients as needed. 3. Communicates with patients, families, significant others and members of the health care team to promote maximum benefits from care. 4. Obtains equipment, materials and supplies from storage areas or appropriate department, and prepares them for use. 5. Scheduling of patient appointments. 6. Responsible for the procurement and inventory of supplies. 7. May also be assigned to routine clerical support tasks to support the patient care process.
Education:
Associate's degree in a business-related field preferred.
Experience:
One year of job-related experience preferred. Location(s) Jackson Physical Therapy
