We have intern positions available for applicants currently enrolled in a therapy program (including social work, counseling, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, physical therapy or physical rehabilitation). These internships are flexible based on school requirements or student interest areas and level of education but may include: Assisting in therapy group sessions Animal training and animal intervention development Observing therapy sessions

THE IDEAL APPLICANT

Is compassionate, kind, and patient Prioritizes creating a safe and caring space for each participant and our therapy animals Is interested in learning how to interact therapeutically with our participants and our animals (previous experience in these areas a plus but not required) Is comfortable and capable of handling outdoor environments and interacting with animals
